The House Of Blues had a 15-year run at Downtown Disney starting on January 1, 2001. The very first band to perform there was the Orange County-based group Lit, who were also the very last performers to grace the HoB location when it closed in May 2016–it was the band’s 15th performance there. The first House of Blues opened at Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1992. It has traded hands since; Live Nation owns the concert chain now, operating 11 locations in the United States as of 2020.
